It's been quite a while since I've posted an entry on this thing.  Everyone seems to have switched to myspace these days; it's all about messaging and finding people.  No one really ever writes about anything anymore.  I have a myspace and all, but I refuse to abandon my poor xanga.  Besides, I like writing.  It seems to be a very reliable way for me to express myself.

Barely a week out of highschool I started taking summer college courses UTA.  That's basically my whole summer. It's more than what I had expected, and because I didn't prepare myself for the change, I think I may not have done as great as I would have liked.  Oh well, I'll find a way to make up for it.  Anything is possible =) Other than the academic aspect of college, I like the environment and people. 

Moving on from school, life has had its up and downs but I'm still up and alive so thats always a plus sign! It's actually all that matters if you want to be technical =P Over the course of time and events that took place, I've come to realize that I've changed alot.  I wont say its a bad change, but I dont know if its good either.  I feel so reliant yet lonely, certain yet skeptical....contradictin eh?  It kinda sucks sometimes because I miss the girl I once was.  Maybe I was naive to believe that nothing has to change if you work at keeping it the same.  But as an inevitable part of life that I hate, things do change.  And sometimes there's nothing you can do.  I guess accepting the fact and the changes is a part of growing up, in which case I have some catching up to do.  But I think a part of me will always stay young...I like to believe I can change things or stop them from changing.  Maybe it's naive, ...I like to call it hope. Hope tends to fail me, but I never seem to lose it. I think hope is like faith....something to believe in.  You have to believe in something or else what are you fighting for right? And life is all about fighting, so it's good to know sometimes waht youre fighting for. Yuppp, that's gotta be it.

 So after all the stress and concerns, prom turned out a lot better than I expected.  Finding the right clothes and accessories, getting all made-up, rushing to dinner, speeding to the hotel, dancing in front of people for the first time...everything just fell into its place.  I had a wonderful and memorable prom night thanks to the amazing people I was with. Thankyou guys for everything.  Special thanks to my date, my sushi, and my azn crew: daniel and mitchell =P haha

Tet was pretty fun this year. Went to watch some performances and then to bring in the new year with my majah and brajah.
The performances were great! Some of the pics are dark becuz I couldnt set my lighting and flash. =/ But anywhos...picture time! =)

So 2005 flew by right before my eyes!  I still can't believe how fast time goes.  Although it wasn't the smoothest ride, 2005 still remains at the top of my memorable and good years.  I know it's very cliche, but I do believe everything happens for a reason...and I'm glad for it.  Life is never perfect but it does go on, and so far it's going pretty good.  I sense a lot of changes coming in 2006 but theres nothing I can't handle!  *game face* Bring it on! haha
